Nikki Egna, a junior at Schreiber High School in New York, recently started an organization called Piano for Patients. She started this organization because she wanted to find a way to combine her love for piano and her love for doing good for others. Nikki believes that her organization works as a mutual benefit for musicians and patients. While the patients are lit up by the melodies of the students, the students feel great about their community service work. Her group has grown tremendously over the past year and she hopes to watch Piano for Patients grow into a nation wide organization.
